Welcome
Hey there, welcome to GamingTips.Today.com. This blog is going to contain all kinds of fun information on gaming and gambling. Everything from basic rules and basic strategy to discussions of more complex strategy points, from the common games to the new breeds of carnival games, to poker. Even information on different types of gaming establishments, comps, players’ club cards, etc. And, I’d like to extend the invitation right now. I will respond to any (reasonable) comments. Also, if you would like a specific topic (gaming, gambling, and casino related only) covered, e-mail your suggestion to gamingtipstoday@gmail.com and I will do my best to answer it. A few disclaimers before I get started.
A) I am not a professional gambler, nor do I recommend anyone reading the blog try to be. I will probably elaborate on this issue in a separate post.
B) To my knowledge, with the exception of poker, and blackjack (if a player counts cards) there is not a game on a casino floor where the house does not have some type of advantage. I will do my best to explain these advantages, and give you tips on how to lower this house advantage, but I by no means guarantee that you will win or “beat the house.” This is designed primarily to help recreational players win as much and/or lose as little as they can, have a good time, and play like they know what they’re doing.
C) I am by no means perfect, nor do I know everything there is to know about gambling. In particular, as I’m sure you will see when I post, I am very familiar with some games, kind of familiar with others, and have only a basic knowledge of still more. I reserve the right to edit any comments, but I will do my best to reclarify, or correct, my posts.
